$50 EVO3D
 

Sorry if already posted. An independent Sprint store in metro Atlanta is offering the EVO3D for $50 with the trade of your old EVO. Is this a good deal? I told the rep at the store I really didn't care about 3D. So he just kept saying how fast it is and it would be worth the trade. My EVO is fast, I'm using MikRom. Just wanted to see what you guys thought.

im in atlanta what store is this where is it? I would do it! it has a faster processor and 3d screen other than the that they are basically the same phone!

If you are off contract with a full upgrade available I say go for it. Otherwise it's not going to be $50.

Radio Shack has been advertising a similar deal for months now, only at $100. Too bad I used my upgrade to get my Evo last year. $100 off full retail isn't so hot a deal:(

I found an add similar to this on Craiglist ( is this the add your talking about), and I upgraded into the 3D for only $50.00 and sold 2 other older devices( you can sell up to 3 devices) and ended up getting the EVO 3D for free and still had a credit left over to get accessories. So all in all, I got a EVO 3D a case and car charger for $10.00. Not a bad deal.

Well, that's the exact deal I received today, directly from Sprint. I have a friend that works at a Sprint Store near me and he held an Evo 3D for me and when I went there and they computed my total cost to acquire the phone, it came to $49.99 + tax. They gave me an instant $150 credit for my old Evo 4G. But, don't be hard-pressed for the Evo 3D. I mean, I love it so far. Gingerbread 2.3.3 is nice and the new Sense 3.0 is amazing, but, the original Evo 4G is still a wonderful phone, IMO. I would have no problem going back to my Evo 4G.

Reading over on XDA.

The Speaker stinks. Mostly likely hardware because it has a smaller speaker to make room for the useless 3D Camera.

Currently locked Bootloader, might be a long wait for root.

Target was offering a similar deal. $150 trade in for your EVO 4G.
