What's Wrong with this thing?!?!?
 

Hey All,
I just downloaded and tried installing the OTA update which I assume was GB for the EVO 4G. I was rooted but was running the stock ROM. I have now been stuck at the screen below for over an hour. Any ideas/suggestions as to what may be wrong???

FYI - Just read that I shouldn't have accepted the OTA update while rooted :/ crap...I just wanna know how to get it back to working order...

Did u try to pull the battery and see if it boots

Fixed it...I was panicking but after I powered it off and powered it on in bootlogger mode and figured it out... Now I'm going to update the right way...

Just a FYI anytime you have an issue with your unit you should first try taking the bettery out.

Wonder how others are getting the OTA 2.3 update with being rooted, I'm rooted and have checked numerous times and never got the option to update, not that I want it but just always curious if it's even available to me, I wouldn't take the OTA until unrevoked gets updated to root it anyways, running a custom rom now.

Unroot before updating. You could brick it otherwise...

I am rooted and chcked and showed update was avaible but not updating getting 3d next week for specs not for 3d video
