Wirelessly posted (htc 6800: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2; en-us; PC36100 Build/FRF91) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

I found my first glitch!
There are some contacts I can't change the Ringtone. They are already a Ringtone other than default, but when I try to change it looks like it will, but it doesn't. There are several contacts that I can change with no probs. I also can change the default ringer.
I have stock non root with handcent and zedge installed. I still use the HTC Ringtone pickers when given the choice.
I really don't want to hard reset. I soft reset without any difference.
Any ideas out there?

Re: ringtone picker glitch

I think I figured out why. I have zedge app installed and it lets you download and install ringers to default or to different contacts. All the ones I had picked with the zedge app seem to be locked. Unless I go to the app and choose another. so I am assuming if I uninstall zedge it would fix above issue. But it said if I uninstall all ringtones downloaded will be deleted and contacts with said ringtones will use the default again. So I will just leave it for now.

Just use a file explorer and go into the zedge directories and move all the downloaded files to the regular media/ringtone folder. Once you uninstall they would still be there and should be good to go, you would just have to set up the specific ringers again since the directory path would be different.
