4g not working after rooting.
 

i recently rooted the phone and put sprint lovers rom. I can't get 4g at all. is this right? I already reflashed the rom and still can't connect. It will connect then disconnect right away. Any thoughts or help? thanks

if i was you i would check the first post of sprint lovers ROM thread and make sure that it says that 4G works on that ROM, second i would download wimax rsa key checker from the market and check to make sure that your 4G keys are still present, also instead of using the toggle switch manually go in and try to turn 4G on, those are some of the things i can think of off hand to check.

4G does work on Sprint Lovers, sounds like you deleted your WiMAX RSA keys.

I did the wimax rsa keys and it says keys are present. what should i try next?

I have that problem occassionally on Sprint lovers rom. I hit the key to turn on 4G but it never turns on. If you put your phone on Airplane mode it will turn on. I just turn it off on airplane mode, go back to turn my radios on and try again. Usually a soft reset of the phone will have it working again if that fails.

Same thing happened to me. I installed rsa key checker, and it said they were still there... I called sprint tech, they updated my profile, which didn't do a thing. Then I flashed a stock sprint rom, intending to unroot and take the phone in for service/replacement. Something fixed the issue when I flashed the stock rom. I'm back on Deck RC6 ( hear RC7 with a full changelog will be out today) and 4G works fine ( speedtest 7.5 yesterday)

For me it ended up being something simple when I flashed a new ROM...no 4G on/off toggle
