Google voice not working on EVO
 

So as we all know, Sprint is allowing us to port our numbers to google voice. After I set everything up, I turned on airplane mode and my wifi to test it out. I get nothing. What am I doing wrong?
The only use I see for this is when Im out of the country and I can make calls back to the US via wifi.

google voice doesn't use wifi....it still needs to dial google to make/recieve your call

ooo, so if Im international it will automatically use google voice? Would it prompt me? The reason why I ask is because the app doesnt have a dial option or anything. Pretty much looks like my gmail inbox

from google voice hit menu, more, settings, making calls. You can choose from from four options: "Use Google Voice to make all calls", "Do not use Google Voice to make any calls", "Only use Google Voice for international calls", or "Ask every time I make a call"

I have to make international calls, do not use google voice and ask everytime I make an international call. only 3 options.

Are there 2 google voice apps or maybe sprint resricts use?

It's not turned on yet, if you're talking about their announcement today. Oh, and you don't need the GV app on your phone when they do turn it on.

Sign up on their website for an email notification when they are turning these features on.
