Q about Auidible Touch Tones

My evo is not rooted and running the stock ROM.

I have enabled the option for audible touch tones. This is the sound that the phone makes when you open an app or when you dial a number with the dialer pad. Mine makes no sound. The haptic feedback works but not the tones. Can anyone help?

Solved... downloaded sound manager app. Not sure how the system volume got so low but its good now.

Well I'm curious about why it went away... it used to make the sound then it went away. I have clue how I would have been able to get it back without this app. I wonder if anyone else has had this issue.
