First day with my Evo
 

I finally got an Evo, my daughter dipped my phone in the toilet, so I made the jump. I got the one with the white back, woot! What apps should I grab?

Is this your first android or have you been using one? There are a lot of apps to choose from depending on your interests.

Live Hold'em Poker Pro, Directv, Estrong's File Explorer, Root Explorer, Angry Birds, MP3 downloaders, Tango, Yahoo Messenger plus the video plugin (which is a separate download), poynt, ...plus tons more!

Root, and install SetCPU, Launcher Pro (if you don't like sense), System Panel, Weatherbug, dropbox, pulse, banking/credit card apps

Thanks guys I may root.. well see. I did try angry birds, thats a blast. I was on winmo with my touch pro so I am new to android. I wish I knew more, been lurkin on here reading.

if you do root, the unrevoked method was easy...especially doing it the 2nd day i had the phone and was new to android. below is the video i followed:
