I would so root but the unrevoked method doesn't work get missing cid Error

What hboot version do you have? I couldn't use unrevoked either. I am running hboot 2.02.

read everything but you will focus on post 3 and on...

I honestly don't remember. I followed all the new stuff about downloading it and still stuck. From what I read its with all new evos, I just dread doing the long way

What is the benefit of partitioning your sd card? I am thinking it will give you more internal memory? If so can you provide me with a link on how to go about it, or any one that would like to do so. In the mean time I will also search to see what I dig up. Thank you.

Darktremor Apps2SD is not the same as Froyo Apps2SD. Froyo Apps2SD creates a secure folder on the FAT32 section of your SD card (this is the section that you see when you mount your phone to your computer) and stores the programs there. This is nice as you don't have to do anything special with the phone, but it isn't backwards compatible with older versions of Android (Cupcake, Donut, Eclair) and, because of the way Froyo works, older programs not designed for Froyo will automatically stay on your internal storage (unless you install a program that forces the move to your SD card)."

Excellent KarlE. This is the same thing I found over at xda. I was not sure if there was something different than this. I did read a little on this Darktremor, and now a little more. But now to do a whole lot more! So I thank you for your time.
