What is this notification?
 

so im running cm7 and every time i get a txt i get 2 notifications this one and my handcent one. if i go to this one it opens the default txt app. i have the default txt app notifications turned off. if i turn them on then i get THREE notifications. i cant figure out what app is causing this any one have any ideas?](*,)](*,)](*,)

That's a new email icon saying you have new mail even though it's a text msg you received. The app isn't differentiating between the two so it's showing you two notifications. Go into the apps settings and uncheck new mail..not new txt..if it will let you. If not, try uninstalling handscent and reinstall.

Need to open the default messaging app, and in settings disable the alert notifications.

also i believe that it's a shortcut to your message, so if you swipe the notifications window down you can click on the text notification and go straight to the txt message instead of going into handcent or HTC messaging app and then have to click on the actual message and then it brings up the new text message, just a quicker way to get to the message i think.

i had all kinds of glitches on CM7, not my cup of tea...
