Re: unroot
if your phone shows s-on and you don't have a custom rom or superuser
or pc36img.zip files on your sd card they'll never know to be honest i don't think they'll even check |
To be safe you should unroot, uninstall superuser, busybox, etc and make sure there are no roms or images on your scard. As someone said, if you are s-on and there is no evidence you have been experimenting you should not have a problem.

Re: unroot
Is the service you need related to hardware or software ?
Do you have more than one tech store you can go to ? See if you can talk to a tech about your situation. IMHO the tech can't fault you for rooting your device when the possibility exists that they have a rooted device already. Software issues ... rooted device - your on your own. Hardware issues ... rooted device - ask for help first. |
Re: unroot
They can tell if they look but I have never had them EVER say anything to me about it.

Re: unroot
I have. I handed my phone to a Sprint Rep at a Spint kiosk. I was looking for a base that would work with the extended battery.
The screen was on and at a glance he said, 'you hacked this phone'. Since he was smiling, I just smiled back. But I have made note to not hand my phone over to Sprint again unless it is stock. |
