Evo differences
My launch day 002 screened EVO is slowly dying. I have a few dead pixels and now my vibration doesnt work anymore. Do the newer EVOs have any differences other than the better power button? How would I root it with full NAND access? Thanks

Re: Evo differences
I didn't get mine at launch... I just got mine very recently... So I can't speak intelligently about the rooting and or the power button differences... However... I can tell you that a couple of MAJOR differences are fully working pixels and vibration.
That should be enough to get you into a new model if you have TEP shouldn't it? lol. p. |

Re: Evo differences
Like a n00b I will just ask... In the mean time... I'll research... But my question is... What power button issue? I have a brand spankin' new EVO less than 2 weeks old and have yet to encounter any power button concerns.
Will you guys enligten me? Thanx. p. |

Re: Evo differences
LOL... I have to admit... It feels kinda good to be a n00b again. I knew nothing about Android the day I picked up my wife's EVO Shift... The next day... I went out and picked up MY EVO. It's been a nice transition from the TP2 and I have a second battery to boot. LOL.
Haven't decided if I'm going to Root it but then again I never used a custom ROM on my Touch, Touch Pro or my Touch Pro 2. So odds are against it. p. |
