Bluetooth Delay
I have a JVC BD-BT1 Car stereo, and when i stream audio (especially movies), there is a 2 to 3 second delay.
I have a rooted EVO Using rockplayer as my video player does not have the delay when i use my bluetooth Motorola S9 Headphones!! Can someone tell me if there is anything I can do to decrease the delay?? Thanks JP |
Re: Bluetooth Delay
BUMP!!
Sorry to bother everybody else..but i cannot believe that i am the only one with this problem!! Thanks JP |
Re: Bluetooth Delay
I have the same issue with my Slingplayer. If I use normal headphones in the 2.5mm jack I get perfect audio sync. My bluetooth Jabra BT8010 does get the audio delay and there is no way to tweak it. As sad as it is, I just learned to live with it. I have had the issue with 2 previous windows phones,(touch pro and Treo).
Interesting that some people at XDA are not experiencing delay. The problem must lie with certian models/brands. Bluetooth headphones with no delay for movies - xda-developers Sarge |
Re: Bluetooth Delay
You must mean milliseconds not seconds. Are you sure the audio encoding on the video is in sync.

Like the previous posting says...it works fine when playing normally or with headphones...but via Bluetooth ..we get this delay... and YES IT IS FRUSTRATING!!! LOL just real frustrating...any videos do that!!! Thanks JP |
Re: Bluetooth Delay
Its hard to say what is causing this but more than likely its not the Evo its probably the stereo. Again its hard to pinpoint this. have you tried another BT phone on your stereo?
