Evervolv Gingerbread issue
 

I installed gingerbread on my EVO and it booted into recovery, created a backup and flashed Android 2.3. Then it rebooted and the Evervolv graphic is all that shows on my screen. It just keeps doing that. I don't know if it's doing something in the background or if I should pull the battery?

Has anyone else seen this?

Problem solved. Just restored my back up and re-flashed and it worked. Found it rather buggy though. Internet would force close so reverted back.

Since you are playing with an OS, not yet available for this phone, I woudl hope you are well versed in recovery. You could be getting into troubled waters and better know where the fire exits are.
