Stuck on Bootscreen!! Need Help ASAP
 

Well i have been searching all over this site and xda and still cant find the solution.
I have the Evo 4G. I am rooted to Myn’s Warm TwoPointTwo RLS 4 – (11/25/2010), great rom btw:headbang:, Radio 2.15.00.07.28, but as of late when i over use my phone it has been turning off when im on youtube or searching something online, with and without the 4g.
Any who, today i have reached to a point in which it will not move from the boot screen. There is a new update on Myn's, all i want to do is to restore it to the RLS 4 and get my bookmarks, save text messages, new phone #'s and call log, so i can update it to RLS 5. Im using ClockworkMod but the previous version and i dont know what any of the options mean when trying to restore. ](*,)

Put the ROM you want on your SD Card and run it from there. Thats about all you can do.

Try not wiping and use OMJ's ROM. Didnt you back your contacts up to your google account?

Nope, i had to many other contacts on my email, did not want to clutter my phone, i do have them saved to Outlook. i have some restore points of OMJ's but how do i go to that recovery?

In recovery you just load from SD Card. Look HERE for more information on the topic.

Ok so i did the update for Myn's but no luck, went into recovery mode and updated the ROM and still stuck in that mode. Now i went into recovery and went back to an earlier date which was a month ago and it worked! I try to reboot with the recovery i did today but it says MD5 mismatch. What does that mean?

Im guessing it means its not compatible but Im not %100 about that.

Try updating to clockworks or ra's newest recovery and reflash.

MD5b is a checksum. That means your file is corrupt. Download and replace it.

I would also flash from the boot loader by naming your file PC36IMG.zip and copying it to your SD card. Then just run HBoot and let the bootloader find your Rom and flash it.

After a successful flash, go in and rename the file to something else or delete it.
