Error Code 67 Sprint Mobile HotSpot
 

I keep getting Error Code 67 when I start Sprint Mobile Hotspot

Is this possibly because I don't have it on my plan?

I only have the SERO Premium plan $50/mo

I have done all the suggestions of resetting Provisioning with ##3283#

Does PDANET get around this?

Do I have to be rooted to run a HotSpot.

I rarely used it and it worked great on TP2 (custom ROM).

I will eventually root it but just trying to avoid a time sync right now.

root and use android wifi tether which is free.

Ok I installed Z4root from [APP] z4root - xda-developers

Copied to SD Card (it's not in market).

Installed Astro File Manager from Market to browse to file.

Run Z4root (It will ask to allow Blocked Apps and Enabled USB Debugging).

Installed Wireless Tether for rooted Users from Market

And I'm up.

howd you get the phone to work with that plan? i thought this ohone requires a simply everything plan? i also have zero i wouldnt mind upgrading my wifes phone for evo

You need to upgrade to SERO premium from the orginal SERO.

Right it's only $10.00 more ($40.00/mo).

But all 4G phones require an addition $10.00 "cool fee".

I think it's a VERY fair.

I have that hotspot on my account it way better the the free wifi tether the free one caps ur speed bad like very very bad
