EVO as a router help

I've search the forums and i cant get an answer. Is there anyway to use my EVO as a router, with out rooting and for FREE?

No, you have to root or pay Sprint for the Hot Spot. You can pay once for PDAnet but that only does free tethering not wifi hot spot. There is a z4root in the market that does a temporary root so you can run the free wifi tether available in the market and once you reboot the root will disappear.
