GPS Not Longer Working...

It can find my location after some time, but is not able to get me directions, and when I open Google Nav, it just force closes b/c it cannot connect. I have tried G. Nav, Sprint Nav, G. maps, etc...

I remember when I had a Windows phone I had to DL info every few weeks to keep my GPS running smoothly. I can't seem too find anything similar on my Evo.

P.S. Also, I meant 'no longer working' in the title. Sorry about that.

Have to rebooted? Are you rooted? On a custom ROM?

Good Lord, I'm sorry. It's been a while since I've posted regularly on these boards.

Not rooted.

Stock ROM w/ most recent Update.

I have tried rebooting several times.

You optioins are few but so are the things that you might have done wrong. I would try a hard reboot and possibly a factory reset. That would rule out conflicting programs.
After that, it is a trip to Sprint.

There have been few compaints about GPS for some time which leads me to believe you may have a phone issue.

That was the case with the TP2, and maybe other WM phones, yet the Mogul never needed it.

I have noticed my GPS slowing way down on aquisition, and there is a program like we had on the TP2, but I can't figure out which one it is (I have almost 300 installed programs, so WHEW!!! trying to find obscure programs). I ran it once, but now can't remember what it was called.

I agree, it might be wise to do a factory reset after accepting an OTA. It might be a pain to reconfigure everything however if your not rooted.

One thing I have noticed with my GPS (this doesn't quite sound like your problem however) is that if I have it off for a long period of time, it takes forever to find my location when I turn it on, even with mobile location also enabled. What works for me is that I turn it on, then restart the phone and then it works fine, until of course I turn it off for a prolonged period of time.

When you first turn on GPS, it has a lot of handshaking and configuration to do. I used to set my Serf III hiking GPS on a log and walk away for 5 minutes to let it settle.
