location of ringtones
 

I'm new to the EVO 4g and new to the ANDROID OS... so could you guys help me out here and let me know where the location of the ringtones could be found? I want to make my CALL RING, TEXT RING, and EMAIL RING, etc. to all be different but I don't know where to save the files at? when I just put them into the files in my SD card, it doesn't show up when I go and try to selet a ringtone? someone please help me! I just bought the phone today and am geeked!:mrgreen:

Create a folder on the storage card called media( if it's not there already) create another folder within called Ringtones and add your ringtones to that folder

thanks i did that and I see the ringer i wanted to use but i have 2 other ringers i want to use for text messaging and email but I dont see them in the list when i go to settings > sound > notification sound? I dont see them sitting in there? any suggestions?

I've been trying that too, is not a windows phone.

In the media folder, create another folder "notifications" and place your ringer for your text/email in there, works for me

Mine is in Media\Audio\Notifications
