SteelH series roms are stock rooted roms. The newest 3.70 update rooted & deodexed stock rom is available over at XDA, thanks to member SteelH.

I am test driving the stock rooted version of this 3.70 OTA. Right away I have noticed that pinch-to-zoom and scrolling in the web browser is much more smooth and fluid with this update. Still not as smooth as I'd like it to be but good enough for me. I haven't been running this OTA long enough to notice any other significant improvements. Like everyone else I hate being forced to keep the bs Nova game demo. That's pretty low of Sprint to force us to waste space on or phones for a demo! At least make it full version if its going to be non removable.

On a side note, I'm quite positive that custom Rom chefs will remove the game demo and possibly Blockbuster & kindle to aleviate this nonsense and give us the option to install them if we choose. No big deal. That's what root and custom roms are for.

yeah. It is unnecessary for a demo to be forced down your throat. Im sure they got money for this. Just wait for unrevoked and then run update and you can uninstall all the files you want like someone said. Looking forward to that.

1.90. I think its the only rom that the pri actually runs right with. I tried it with myns and it slowed the phone to a crawl.

Ikillen, I agree with you. That was part of the big deal with the phone: the mobile hotspot. Many have benefitting from rooting their phones and not having to deal with the extra $30(?) it costs to use the feature.
