htc evo ps3jailbrake???
 

I've looked everywhere even searched on here and cant seem to find a anything on how to install the custom recovery image. I have the file downloaded psfmod-0972 but i dont know how to flash.

There are a bunch of file inside the rar, I see supersonic i know thats the one that need to be flashed my question is how? i tried terminal i type su (enter) then flash_image recovery/sdcard/psfMod-supersonic-0.9.7.2.img with that bin file on the root of sdcard and i get a error saying file not found. whats the steps to just flash a recovery image?

It would probably be easier if you just downloaded Rom Manager from the market and installed it through there..It will install clockwork or Amon RA recovery.

Thanks for the info, but im trying to flash the custom recovery image for the ps3 jail brake. I have the clockwork mod installed already, but now i wanna install the psfmod thats been ported to the EVO with clockwork built into it.:headbang: thanks anyways

You are installing a .img file and not a .zip. That is why recovery isn't finding the file. Try this:

Copy psfMod-supersonic-0.9.7.2.img to a location where fastboot can find it.
Boot your phone into fastboot mode
fastboot devices(press enter) (to make sure that fastboot "sees" your phone)
fastboot flash psfMod-supersonic-0.9.7.2.img(press enter)

i personally have it on my phone and the easiest and fastest way is to use UNREVOKED. use the custom image option and your done. that easy. works every time for me flawlessly.
be sure which psfmod image you use as well because one turns your phone into a device where you can downgrade your ps3 from 3.50 to 3.41. if you are already on 3.55 then stop because there is no way to downgrade from 3.55...... yet

all other images make or turn your phone into a jailbreaking device so just pay attention and read. everything is reversible with your evo but just trying to save you some aggravation, time and trouble shooting

Thanks brother i will try this method sound more simple, yes i know the difference, the other psfmod (which is the newest one) not build 072 thats the one with the downgrade option. that one i will not flash

Thanks as well. Quick question wouldn't the location be the root of your sdcard?
And fastboot is in the boot loader menu am i correct?

Seems you could just rename it to PC36IMG.img and just reboot.

I have it flashed now with the unrevoked method, its pretty simple but I should have tried that at first too.
