No sound during calls. Speakerphone, headset works fine
 

I just noticed this problem with my phone. When I make or receive calls, there's absolutely no sound (even with the incall volume turned to the maximum value). However, If I use a headset, I can get sound. If I also switch to speakerphone, I can sound.

Do I have a hardware problem or is this something minor I can fix on my own? thanks

Try a hard reset. If that fixes it then your good. If not then take it to repair center. Most likely it will new replaced. Just make sure you do a backup. Oh, the repair center will probably do another hard reset and they won't believe you if you tell them you did your own hard reset. They never believe anything you say. They think the customer is always wrong even though most of us know more than any repair center or sprint phone rep. good luck

I think I have a bad earpiece. I really don't want to do a hard reset. I'll take it in to the repair center tomorrow
