Change Image Of Airplane: Airplane Mode
 

does anyone know how to change the image of the aircraft that pops up on the screen when you enter airplane mode? Not the little icon in the status bar but the large aircraft picture.

That would be cool, I could put a picture of the airplane I fly there instead of the default.

that's what I was thinking. The image I'd like to replace is the one that shows up on the slide to unlock screen when the phone is in airplane mode. Where can I look to see where this image is stored to maybe try to switch it?

First, you will have to be rooted. Install Root explorer or the like. Then go into the root and start searching. It is probably a PNG inside a zip file. There may be a whole collection inside the file with a reference file that points to it. It could also be in a resource file (ext. RC) Many development enviroments have resource editors.

I would grep on *.zip and poke around and if you do not find anything, try *.RC.

Ignore the above. I search the world over and can't find it. Must be compiled into a binary.

Hey OP...the image you are looking for is in the HtcLockScreen.apk/res/drawable-hdpi/icon_airplane_mode.png

Good find. I should have grepped airplane and it would have come up.
