Switched from Cyanogen to Warm, now lost half of my pictures/videos...why?
 
Just as title says.

Went from Cyanogen to Warm 2.2, and once I had Warm all my pictures and vids were there, and everything was fine. And I don't know when exactly (since I don't look at past pix and vids everyday) but sometime ago a certain group of my pictures and videos are just gone now, I used Astro to look through the entire SD card for them, and they're not there. I heard Astro has a lot of problems with SD cards and it did say mine was damaged and shit, so I uninstalled Astro and since then the SD card is fine.

It sucks though because I fear that all those files are gone forever now since they are no where to be found on the SD Card. :(

But I really want to say that this happened to me before and they came back eventually, but I can't be 100%.

Anyone know how to help?

Do you think it may have something to do with me being on a non-sense ROM and gallery and camera, and then going to a sense ROM and gallery? I don't know, could be!...

had this problem when I went from stock rooted to myns. I love myns ui. I can recommend making a copy of your pics/vids in a dropbox or on cpu. I love myns but no 4g tether is bs. I have 4g. even sent an email to myn to get a non tether built in version but no dice. Sorry didnt mean to go off course.


just make a backup... i failed to do this and lost several years of pictures when i flashed myns oh well

more than likely it's just in another folder on the root of your sd card or in another folder. flashing from cm6 to warm will not do this. I assume you have a file explorer installed on the device, so look in the DCIM folder and see if there are other folders in there potentially. good luck.

Yeah, I did that before, lol. It's weird, theres one thst says something like "100ANDRO" and it has nothing in it. Ugh, unfortunate.

humm i gonna take a stab at this and guess that you never backed up your stuff to the cloud?

no i have. and im thinking if i back up the last state it was in before i flashed warm it would bring back my pix and vids, i just really dont want to go through all of that, and have it not work, lol.
