Ok, I just looked at my TB pro and didn't notice the batch to move all user apps to sd. Are you able to run the apps after they've been moved to sd or is this only for backup purposes?

Some of the apps are able to move using the standard move to SD under SETTINGS--->APPLICATIONS

some of the other ones do not allow that so I use TITANIUM BACKUP PRO, long press on the application and click MOVE TO SD.

Sometimes the market will install the updates and other times they fail. When the update fails to install, I go into Titanium backup pro, LONG PRESS on the APP and say MOVE TO INTERNAL. then go back to market and let it update all the apps I moved, then move them all back..

I shouldnt have to go through this.. I never had to do this until this week...

Re: Installation Unsuccessful

try unmounting (but not removing)your sd card before you go to market place. download the app you want and it should install...when its installed, remount your sd card.....iREALLYdk why that works but it does. it may have to do with the size of the .apk. try it and see

Re: Installation Unsuccessful

I think when you brute force some Apps to the SD, the market is not able to sort this out.

I forced Skys of Glory to the SD using Tintanium and it still runs but I don't know if I have encountered an update since.

Maybe you are right, but ONE of them was done with the regular settings-->APPLICATIONS and then move to SD and that couldnt update either....

moving them all back to internal and updating worked and then I move them back.. there has to be a solution.. it worked before........ without doing this....

LOL. if anyone finds a solution let all of us know

so far moving it back to internal, updating and then moving back to memory card works and thats what I am doing...

^this

for 'updates'...if the app is on the storage card.. first use apps2sd to move them back to the phone..

THEN menu>settings>sd and phone storage>UNMOUNT sd card

go to market. get app or update you want.install it. it should be 'successful'

now remount the card (menu>settings>sd and phone storage>remount)

use apps2sd to move apps back to storage card.

i dont know why, but i have to do this procedure most times for apps that are unsuccessful. i'm on Fresh's rom.
