Battery Using 91% of android System ? Any Help
 

i had full charge this morning 5 hours into it 50% battery gone.

voice calls 2%
Cell Standby 3%
Phone Idle 2%
Bluetooth 2%
Android System 91%

What can i do to make it better otherwise it flawless

wipe. or start uninstalling apps one by one 2 see which is the culprit.

Well i did narrow it done to internet ? when i turn off my data connection under setting my battery does not drain so it has to do with some apps going online checking every 5 min and keeping my data running ?

Check and make sure in settings Wireless %Networks>Mobile Network>Enable Always On is unchecked. This stops Internet from being on all the time.

Yes that what i am going to try next, cause i did have it checked let me charge it tonight and uncheck the internet network/enable.

see if that improves the battery life.

android system is 92% so system is using internet for something

thanks will report back if that helps if not next move will be fresh install of srpint lovers rom and install 1 app at a time .

That should help, and if a program needs to update it will automatically reconnect. That uses battery too so this plus long update times (say 4 hour facebook/news updates) works quite well.

I also uncheck background data and auto sync as well as gogle accounts news stock and weather

I will manually update if i need it. Atleast it will tell me if it is that what causing android system to use 92% of battery.

As soon as i turn off data my battery never lost anything i mean 10% for 3 hours in idle/few phone calls which is great.

I will update tomorrow and see if the above made a difference currently battery is charging 93% i am going to take it out of the charger to see how much battery goes down during the night with just sitting idle.

then my normal use bluetooth in car and handfull of phone calls and check mail / stocks / weather. hopefully i can come home at 6.30pm and have some battery juice lol

if you have low signal thats drying you're battery to i try many tings to get fix the battery but noting works i hope that fix you're problem because this phone is one of the best and nice but the problem is the battery

That would not show up as Android running 91%. It would be in Cell Standby when phone gets no signal from tower and keeps pinging for tower.

Ok update form last night 100% charge 10.00pm

1. left the phone on idle with the above setting off mention previous post,
7.00am i checked i had 86% battery life so 9 hours idle 16% drain i am happy.

2. 7.00 am to 9.00 am - 1 hour connected to car bluetooth made 3 calls 9 min total and 1 hour idle i have 76% battery so i lost 10% in 2 hours that is ok cause i was connected via blue tooth.

3. 9.00 am to 8.45 PM battery was down to 10% well i am happy cause my android system was using 19%

PS: More will come as day goes along but so far so good. Android system so far 13% wow that far cry than 91% i was using background data - auto sync and enable always on mobile now i have uncheck made a huge difference.

I love this site people are always here to help. i posted the same thing on XDA not even one reply wow.
