Evo problems
 

My Evo is unlocked and running Cyanogen 6.1

Sometimes i don't receive text, Sometimes i call people and it tends to hang/stall before calling people... some people call me and go straight to my voice mail.. from what they have been telling me... and i don't receive a missed call.. also i call some friends an it goes straight to voice mail. anyone know anything about this?

i wanna say for maybe 2-3 weeks but i didn't think it was a concern untill my friend who has a evo also said he has the same problems and his is also unlocked

Does your friend have the same kind of set up as you do as far as what rom he is running and are you guys in the same general area?

I am experiencing the same with my Evo, happened to me all night, plus 3g is hella slow and annoying. been going on for about 3 days now. Before I was fine, haven't changed the rom or anything else and my Epic is working fine so using that for that now even though I want to return it. Thinking of changing the radio and see if that helps, but going to call sprint first.

Well it seems like sprints network has been very unstable as of late, I am in atlanta and 3g is just shitty as hell and its been that way for a few weeks or so. For example, my 3g speeds has always been a little over 2mb down(consistently) over the last several years and thats from different phones I have owned from the mogul, diamond, touch pro 1, touch pro 2, and now currently the evo. Now over the past few weeks my speeds have plummeted to record lows, I am lucky if I get 300kbs down and I have heard a lot of recent complaints about other evo users having the same issue. So I don't know if its evo specific or what but sprint needs to do something quick. To add though 4g has been rock solid so I guess its a 3g thing.

Well,havent had time to call sprint, and the epic battery died, and in downtown I can get 4g on the evo, so i had to use the evo to check the train schedule, but the 3g is at 100-200 kbps on sporadic tests today. plus missing voicemails and stuff for work really sucked. forwarding all my calls now.
