Stock non-rooted 3.29.651.5 EVO Rebooting continuously!
 

This started a couple weeks ago and when it decides to shut off and reboot it goes to the white screen for a few seconds and then reboots again continuously until I pull the back cover and remove the battery. I am not as adventurous as most on this forum because I rely on this for my business hence the un-rooted stock rom.
Cleaned the battery contacts, pulled SD card and reinserted to clean those contacts. It seems to be possibly be heat related??? Anyone else having this issue with stock Rom? I searched and have seen similar issues but usually related to rooted custom roms being the problem.

Are you downloading alot? Using 4g? Will get hot, may be overheating that way.

My phone is for business. Rooted to make it work smoother and install apps nonroot will not allow.

If you have insurance or are within the 30 days of purchase I would definately call or go into sprint store. Somethings wrong.

Perhaps it is not related, but I had a couple of winmo HTC phones that would reboot endlessly if they were
1. dead
2. using a weak charger

Basically the weak charger would not be enough to charge the phone and it would somehow start an endless reboot cycle.

Just to follow up on this. I ended up taking it into the store where they did a hard reset and couldn't reproduce the issue and then as I started to restore the phone to my settings and went to go onto the internet it did it again so I took it into them with it looping reboot. The tech gave me a new phone. Problem solved.
