Having 4G issues - I think I am being bounced around 4G towers

I used to have consistent 4G in Los Angeles. As of about two weeks ago, it started sucking big time. My friend has an EVO and is having similar issues.

I live in St. Louis and have the same issue. Strong 4g signal, then spotty 4g signal, then a switch to 3g, with the phone sitting stationary and no voluntary changes. I think (or, I hope) it's still new technology that has some more promising behavior ahead of it.

I'm in Portland, OR and my 4G has not worked all day. Yesterday was the first day I had rooted it, and 4G worked fine on the phone. Tethering it on wifi with iPod didn't give me 4G speeds but i'm ok with that. however today my 4G stopped working altogether. It will scan, then disconnect. Haven't latched on anywhere.

Now I'm glad to see that others on there are having issues.

NY has a garbage signal, and comes and goes at random - probably not efficient enough for the high density population
