Alright, i tired everything to get my MSL code. But no luck. Evo is running 2.2/Non rooted if that helps. Can anybody show me how to get it? Thanks

CALL SPRINT N ASK FOR IT THEY WIIL GIVE IT TO U. or chat with a representative via online n ask for it they wont ask u question why u need it, its easy

or you can try msl reader from the android market (free app)

If you are rooted, it is very easy. Otherwise go to Sprint

Well ive finally got myself into rooting my evo. Soo far its working, still waiting for it to reboot. Once im done, ill need to download MSL reader? And it'll give me the MSL code?

u dont need root. u need htc drivers and cdma tools. google for it. theres a tutorial on here on how to change your carrier name, it also shows u how 2 retrieve ur msl.

yep just download n run it n ur msl will show up

Ahh man, to late malibu_23, Im half way through the rooting process. But we shall see if itll work that way.

Everything worked great, Installed MSL Reader, And got my MSL. Thanks guys for telling me my options !
