Stock Browser Reloading Issue (No Force close error)
I have searched google and the forums, but unless I have.oberlooked something, I cannot find a reason for this issue, any help is appreciated:
Phone condition: Both Stock with no apps installed, and rooted with Un3, 8 apps installed. Task Killers? When on Stock, no, it was completely stock. When rooted, used Automatic Task Killer, which helped greatly, issues only happend a little, then switched to Auto Killer Memory app for root users, and started having problems again. The Problem: Whether Id be browsing a 1 page or 4, if I leave to another app, and come back, say an hour later, the windows would be closed, and the last one viwed would reload, and thats it. Highly annoying. |

Re: Stock Browser Reloading Issue (No Force close error)
What I mean is, say, i have 4 tabs open. My current Tab is on Yahoo. I play angry birds for 5 minutes, or, I just look at something else on the phone. When I come back to my browser, instead of yahoo where I left it, the browser will reopen, and literally reload Yahoo as if i navigated to it for the first time. Meanwhile, the other 3 tabs are gone.
The browser literally reloads as if it was the first time. Did not have this problem on 2.1, about to go back. |
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)
angry birds uses quite a bit of resourses. android probably closed the browser which freed up some memory. |
Re: Stock Browser Reloading Issue (No Force close error)
I hear you Demon, but this was happening even before I installes Angry Birds, when it was just stock. I think Ill try to hard reset it, and see if that helps. I reinstalled Auto Task Killer, and niw everything works again. I wonder if I have a memory leak?
