Have 4G activated/MAC address but no signal
 

I don't know if it makes a diff but I've been a long a time CM user and decided to change up a little and go back to a sense Rom for a little while but with any Rom including a stock one I am not getting 4g. I get the MAC address for it and my togge says its on. ive tried multiple diff roms along with different radios with no luck. If anyone could help I would much appreciate it.

might have a broken 4g? have you tried flashing the newest wimax radio?

I was on the newest and juat tried the oldest with no luck. Everything seems to functioning ok but I do not have the 4g icon in the notification bar. Could using cm for long some how have broken this?

Did you try restoring nand back up?

There are several post on how to check and see if 4G is broken. There is a njumbers that if you have them its broken, there is a fix in that thread I will look around.

cyanogenmod6? did you read this?
Known Issues:
* No 4G, FM radio, or HDMI yet.

I WAS on the latest nightly for cm6. I know it don't have 4G..... yet. Which is one of the reasons I left it But it should still work on any sense Rom I would think. I'll take a look at that fix and see what happens. thanks

As stated CM6 does not support, you may wish to try another rom. I am on OMJ 3.6 and runs great.

i went to the link previously recommended:

this help me to figure that my MAC address was wrong and i was able to fix it. now i i get alerted that there is 4G is in the area but never connects.

it got me to look for this:

from here i was having trouble determining if my RSA key is intact or not. i was able to find out that if it is not im pretty much screwed.

some how i ended up here too:
STOP - Do not flash your Radio/WIMAX

ive also tried the 4G permissions fix which seems to brick my phone every time i try. any other suggestions out there???
