so my friend wants me to root his evo i asked him for the software number he said "3.29.651.5" which is obviously the build so im guessing he's running the latest froyo. now he wants me to root his evo, which i will use unrevoked (since it faster due to the fact im useing his mom's laptop while mine is at home dont want to cloud her machine with stuff she doesnt want) and he doesnt really need to learn the whole :computer: adb stuff like i did and he wont be loading custom roms. so my question basiclly breaks down to which unrevoked do i use to set him up with root? 3 or forever?

unroveked roots your phone the unrevoked forever is a tool you can use with it to keep s-off forever

make sure it is version 3.21… if not then it will give you problems...

You only need one thing and it's the only thing you need to use.

unrevoked3.21 (it now includes s-off functionality) [it is also the only one that will work on Froyo 2.2 phones)
