Can you link your contacts to Facebook when not using Sense?

I just flashed Cyanogen and loving it!

Unfortunately my Facebook contacts will sync up but the pictures don't load. I really don't like the default Android pictures and the thing that bothers me the most is that SOME will sync and load the pic, but about 80% doesn't. Anyone know how?

I also cant set up voicemail, or dont know how. ugh.

under update phone, should work. If not, flash a stock rooted sprint rom then reflash the current rom that you want to use

Actually I just found the .apk for sprint visual voicemail and used that. although I still get an annoying text messages, i just blacklisted it with handcent.

what about the facebook pictures? does the regular android interface not allow syncing with facebook profile pix?

If you are also sync'd with Outlook, I think there is an app (computer app) that sync the pics that I read about. Google it and you may find it

Make sure you download the facebook app (if you have not already), then make sure in the facebook app settings (from facebook home) that you have contacts syncing on either 1. sync all or 2. sync with existing.

now, for most of your contacts, it will populate all the pictures/profile to the contacts, but for those that dont, simply go to each contact that does not have the picture or facebook profile attached to it and click menu->edit, then Menu->join, and match it with correct facebook contact. Save it, done. (you can tell if the contact is linked to facebook by opening the contact and it should say "view facebook profile" somewhere on the contacts card)....

hope that helps, most people dont know this, since it is not that easy to see.
