Phone seems slower after this weekend's Upgrade

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

I'm working with a non-rooted HTC EVO.

Has anybody else noticed that their phone seems to be slow to respond since this weekend's upgrade?

Getting from one screen to another is slower and sometimes "choppy" while the screen catches up.

It's not so much the HTC User Interface that I'm talking about but more the other applications (messaging--either stock or Handcent--calendar, etc).

Has anybody else noticed this? Does anybody have any suggestions?

As always, thanks for your assistance.

Wannachat (and anybody else that may be interested),

It appears the problem may be fixed--at least as far as my phone is concerned. The issue had nothing to do with this weekend's upgrade but was caused by another application that upgraded this weekend--"Call Blocker Gold." The Call Blocker people must have realized the problem and they've sent out an udate that seems seems to fix the problem. Even in the notes of that fix it said something about an emergency fix because the app was using 100% CPU.

Just thought I'd give an updated.

Thanks.

Mine seems slow at times responding to clicks and I'm also not able to successfully record video in 720p. When I do a recording it appears to record fine but when I play back the video is choppy and stops within the first few seconds.

Maybe I just should have rooted and loaded a custom ROM but I'm too much of an Andriod n00b to try.
