yea theres some talk about it on xda and androidcentral. nothing real solid yet

I ran it on my EVO, applied just fine, end up with 1.40_003 a version still..

I picked up a new evo on Monday and it came loaded with the 1.71 PRI. I used the easy unrevoked 3 root and it is still there...of course I couldn't tell you if there were any differences though...

Yes it beiing talked about and tried many ways will do nothing but loose root for some. Most are trying to get PRI out 1.71.003 and will not work at this time stays whay ever PRI you had.

So with the exception of losing root. Is it a good or bad thing to use this RUU? Nothing like having the latest out but is it really worth it?

This is the same thing that is in the Fresh rom, its an unreleased OTA and was probably found over on XDA and its been out for over a week.

this isnt the unreleased OTA update you speak of... this build is 3.26.651.6, the unreleased build is 3.28.651.1
