yes I'm using windows 6.5 in my evo and works well as long you but the licence ore if you know how there is some tricks I'm using Windows because I need Excel and some other programs there I can use with Android

and we Tether publically, thats basically theft... especially on Android where carrier have a locked HotSpot which you need to pay $30 a month to use... but, you guys root the device, thus breaking that lock and illegally and freely use tethering...... its much different than winMO, since Sprint wont even add phone-as-modem plans for quite sometime.. SPrint offers the #30 add-on for hotspot, and everyone goes around it... This time Sprint DOES have a LOCK AND a PLAN to go along with it, and most Android users go around it... thats Theft ALL over the place right there...

so theres plenty of shady things people will publically involve themselves in.... If someone said "hey, i need testers for WP7 or WinMO on ANDROID, but just so you know, your taking risks...." you really think there'd be any shortage of people to sign up publically???? come on now.. and you can always release "trials" via IIRC and its even less likely some "authoratative entity" is gonna find out...

Android actually has some good implementations of Excel actually..and you sure you aren't using an HD2? lol

Not exactly...if you remember sprint is also theoretically distributing it with every winmo upgrade...because from perspective only people with a license for it will generally be bale to use it anyways....since you have a license for it on the device M$ doesn't care and looks the other way...now if you tried to put it on a Android device...thats not making M$ any money..so it'll be a matter of time till there is a law suite for damages.

No its not theft..Tethering is not against the law..at WORST sprint can suspend your contract and thats it..even if I came up to sprint and told them i'm tethering and did it right in front of them there is nothing they can legally do about it, on the other hand if you put winmo on an EVO in front of M$ you'd get sued..same way as installing windows if you didnt buy it on your pc.

as for tethering..its like sprint has a backup option for $2 a month..so your saying going around and making backups for free is not allowed? Your mixing up violating copyrights/patents/trademarks with breach of contract punishable only by suspending of the contract. And realistically the programs to tether are on the Android Market place....if sprint wanted to they could have blocked them....

why would anyone with a evo even be thinking about anything windows does after touchpro grief, yea, i had tp1 and two liked it well enough cuz i didnt know any better (reset, hang, crash)
