It depends on the recovery...

RA Amon is on your card in /nandroid/Your_devices_serial/
Clockwork is also on the card in /Clockwork <---I think.. I don't use it.

Within the folder there should be more folders..Each folder is a nandroid backup, the folders name is usually made out of the date when it was created.

For Clockwork its under /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup
