here's a link to flash the latest and greatest google apps...got it from XDA...CM6 nightly thread

just flash like its a ROM...suggest you wipe prior to...

How does one check to see which gmail client is on his Evo? All I know is I have the one that came with the 2.2 OTA.

I think thats pretty much the only thing thats new.

Go to settings>applications>manage applications>all

Look for gmail and click on it. You'll be able to see the version there.

Just a FYI there is a newer gapps from 8-17

I hate how the new version opens up and shows the newest email. I wish it would just show the email list instead.

i hate this also, but thats been on there on all 2.2 roms. The gapps he posted is a newer version then that, but correct it does the samething :(
