Re: Is this guy serious???

Although nefarious at best, he did disclose it very clearly. If people are lazy and don't read.. too bad for them.

LOL, I remember alot of those as well. The auction had the full description and tech specs of the 360 but then bellow that it stated you were bidding on an xbox 360 box. Since people don't like to read I saw many auctions like that go from $.99 to $400 plus in a matter of just minutes, just awesome. But one of the funniest ones I could remember was someone thought they had won a ps3 for like a $1000 but received 3 ps1's. The auction spoke about all things ps3 but then stated that you were actually bidding on 3 ps1's. Just EPIC!!!!

Re: Is this guy serious???

I remember something like this a few years ago. Some scammer was selling a picture of the phone. The buyer got the picture and then sued the scammer for false advertising. The buyer won the lawsuit only because the scammer had listed the generic specs for the phone, which included the weight of the device. Since the photo obviously didn't weigh as much as the real thing, it was ruled that the item was misrepresented.

I really can never understand why someone would buy a touchy complicated electronic device from ebay (or craigslist). Maybe if it was 10 cents on the dollar. I hear story after story about people getting screwed, and you have zero warranty or protection in most cases.

this been goin on for years of ppl r dumb enough not to read its not the sellers fault. although eBay consider it scam imo its fully legal he's selling a fully described box and the rest if ppl don't read its not his fault and he can ask any price he wishes for as long as he didn't violate the eula I don't think his post should have been removed

Well shit, looks like I'm in the wrong business. I should just start selling boxes for electronics, obviously there's good money in it.

My daughter has bought several phones off CraigsList but always from local people so we were able to see the phone, test before purchase.
