post 4 Can you hear me now? Yes--that can be frustrating, I know, but dial *18. That is the number for Sprint's Cell Tower Signal Enhancement, and please don't ask me to remember who told me--but it works! I locks onto your present location and boosts your signal by at least one bar (I've gotten a two-bar boost @ some locations). |

just tried it and went from 3 bars to 4 (5 for a second) then back to 4 consistently.

Re: Dial *18 when your signal is bad.
wow.. cool.. i will remember that...
guessing.. it might pump up the battery power... to juice up your signal. and eat your battery a little. but great if works and would be handy. Hope I remember to use it! |
Re: Dial *18 when your signal is bad.
Interesting indeed, I will need to check this out once I get to my office since I get 2 bars max at that location.

Re: Dial *18 when your signal is bad.
Hmm it must boost our cell phone's radio signal.
I know our phone are capable of pulling in much better signals but it is regulated due to the cancer causing elements. After the Nokia cancer thing they put a limit on how many, I want to say watts but could be off, the radio could put out to limit damage to our brains! |
Re: Dial *18 when your signal is bad.
