sensitive screen
anyone notice that sometimes you don't even have to touch the screen and it reacts as if you have? Sometimes i can put my finger just close to the screen - not touching it - and its like I've touched it. Happens pretty frequently - is ther a way to adjust the screen somehow? make it a littl eless sensitive? While I'm at it, some for the buttons at the bottom.

Re: sensitive screen
There may be a way to adjust it, but this is also fundamentally a physics problem. These screens work on capacitance which can be affected by certain factors. One issue these phones had was improper grounding; you had to hold the phone in your hand to get the screen to react properly. Depending on the climate, low humidity can create a stronger separation of charges. Sometimes your body has such a high potential relative to the screen that it becomes that much more sensitive.
The point is, even if you could adjust the screen's sensitivity, it may all be for naught; the sensitivity is dependent on factors that can vary, meaning you would have to constantly adjust it based on your climate or how long you've been dragging your feet on a rug. |

Re: sensitive screen
For the most part the froyo sensitivity that everyone refers to I haven't noticed. All I know is EStrongs File Explorer doesn't like the froyo ROM I'm using. It's tough to make it scroll through folders.
