It's not that I am not doing it right. I promise you, I am doing everything 100% according to the directions.

I just used the RUU to flash back to stock 1.47 then tried to root from there, everything appeared to work fine, got no errors or everything, yet whenever i have to boot to recovery I always get that damned red triangle with the exclamation point. And I downloaded an app called reboot recovery and it told me I wasn't fully rooted
I just said **** it and did the stock ota 2.2

On the red triangle screen try holding volume up and pressing power if your truly rooted it should put you in the modded recovery if that doesn't work I will track down the update zip file for you
