All Leaked Froyo Update [FIXED] Discussions
Everyone... After many discussions with both HTC and Sprint technical support teams, Sprint now has at their corp. stores a fix for the problem. When talking to the tech at the store... he said it just came to them this morning. It looked to be a FULL version of the 2.2 software. They downloaded it and applied it to my phone...and I am now at the proper software level.

This updates those who installed the Leaked version of FROYO to the OFFICIAL one Sprint released. You will then be able to get OTA updates.
Anyone who has root and wants to keep it...should not do this. I did not have root so it did not matter to me. They installed a FULL version of Android....very large file. Much larger than the update...it was also encrypted..so I could not get a copy. |

Sounds like a newer RUU with 2.2. RUU don't care what you have on your phone, just a current or lower bhoot version then of the RUU running the install.

Make sure it's a corp. store...Thats what Sprint Tech support told me. 3rd party stores...might not be getting it.
