Contact Sync Maddness
 

Ok this has been driving me ](*,)!!! I've had the EVO since launch and love it. But one thing has been a thorn in my side since I got the phone. THE CONTACTS! Before I had my EVO I had the Touch Pro 2 and loved it. I had all my contacts saved to Google and used Google Snyc to keep everything updated on the fly from adding people to changing pics with the facebook sync. But now that Ihave the EVO it has such a stupid way of saving contacts by splitting them into Phone saved contact, Google saved contacts, and having the facebook synced contacts pics not saved tot he contact. So now I want to know if there is a way to combine all three so that I can have them all in sync instead of pics not saved and my gogole contacts not having pics at all? Or am I screwed?

Have you ever noticed when you open a contact up towards the top right hand corner a number in a circle and it says LINK! or you can press the two semi circles at the bottom of the contacts card and link that way too. Basically if the phone finds that the contact matches some other contact it will suggest you link those as well if it finds them thru your friends list on Facebook Google and Twitter you can manually search for these as well

Yes I have them linked but it doesn't update in google contacts on my gmail.

when you add a contac make sure you select google as the type of contact.

yea i have the same problem, cant get google to sync it force closes eveytime whats the problem am i doing something wrong....
