Hello guys, i just want to know this, are getting problems with Facebook for htc sense amean could you sync your contacts or you are on the same page than people that got 2.1, im jus asking you this since i reading some comments about loock like people with Froyo have no issues, even i already go to Nexus 1 section and dont found any thread about this issue at HTC side same just found comments from people that got EVOS INCREDIBLES HERO, if this is correct probably they are testind something for make an official froyo release,

Im funning Ava-Froyo and I am only having BT and 4g issues. My mms works fine. It doesnt feel as snappy as Cyanogen but has Sense. Im happy

If you read the CM6 Nightly thread on XDA, there is a fix for FB sync...

Code:

adb remount

adb shell sed -i 's/ro.product.name=htc_supersonic/ro.product.name=opal/g' /system/build.prop

adb shell sed -i 's/ro.product.device=supersonic/ro.product.device=sapphire/g' /system/build.prop

adb shell rm /system/app/Facebook.apk

adb reboot

Then reinstall FB from the Market.

there is also an app called syncmypix <-spelled like that... that will sync your FB pictures.

I actually tried that fix, doesnt really work. FB is actually having an issue on their end.

What you mean it doesn't work? Works perfectly for me and the other 100's of people?

There are also a ton of people hat it doesn't work for too. It's an acknowledged problem. I went from not syncing to only syncing half my contacts. I know its not cyanogen's fault

Its ok, flashed another 2.2 ROM and it works. Even auto-updates

i have the same facebook issues to... i finally was able to log in by adding my city under my job name as they say on the front page of xda but havent got anything to sync from their including contacts or calendar events like birthdays
