EVO connection to PC
 

I am about ready to throw this EVO out the window...all day I have been trying to get the SD card to be seen by my PC when I connect the USB and it won't do it. I have a PC and a laptop...if I connect to the laptop it will let me open the EVO as an external drive, if I connect to the PC after connecting it to the laptop it will let me open it as an external drive for about 2 minutes then it drops the connection to the phone and I can't get it to work again untill I plug it into my laptop.

It will charge from the PC, but the PC just won't see the damn thing. I have tried reflashing the phone and reinstalling HTC Sync on the PC but it just doesn't seem to want to work. Even tried two different USB cables. I am using OMJ's Rom. This all seems to have started when I installed ROM manager on my phone.

Anyone having similar issues or have any idea what I can do to fix this?

Have you executed a hard reset?

Try going back to the Stock ROM...see if that changes it....I have heard of some of these Cooked Roms having issues with connecting with PC's...Try the Hard Reset too.
