Email Client

Does anyone know of an email client that allows you to sync all your email folders, not just the inbox. I know with winmo you could do it and I was hoping you could with android. I've searched the market and have found nothing

The default email client syncs all my folders fine... I'm using GMX Mail which uses IMAP.

MailDroid is another one - no experience with it though. Reading the developer's forum indicates he is active.

Whats wrong with Gmail? you need to setup the folders you want synced.

I have ALL mine literally from SENT to my custom made folders to my forwarded email accounts folders as well and I have it all synced to EVERYTHING so whatever is in my gmail account is found on the phone actually damn neat and handy I use it to send myself files all the time pretty nifty little trick

i don't use gmail either. It's just too confusing for me to use to put all the messages in a catch-as-catch-can box and then "tag" them. Sorry, it's what folders are good for. I use K9, it's good but it DOES NOT meet all my needs.

I can't get it to sync when I send an email
The ability to sync second level folders is a bit confusing and then there's the cannot do something because not all headers have been synced message?

k9 is a work in progress but it works well. i know if you're using Yahoo mail, you can use the Yahoo mail client. DO NOT. It's crap and a memory and space hog.

No loss at all. Gmail is not the end-all/be-all of mail clients or applications. I don't find it particularly useful and more often than not, full of spam.

Unfortunately Gmail is good for those who don't have their own domain email. For those of us who do Gmail really isn't much better than Hotmail....

I use yahoo mail becuase it lets me do what gmail doesn't have folders. I can't get my head around the flagging thing. Just too much noise to have to sort mails based on flags.
