Touch Pro SD card to EVO
 

I finally made the upgrade from TP to EVO. On my TP SD card I had all of my info, contacts, pics etc backed up with Sprite and an extra backup of SPB. Is there any way to take the card from the TP and use it in the EVO to load my info onto the EVO?

Best be is to backup your data on the SD Card onto your PC...then put the SD Card in your Evo and format it for the Android OS....then copy the data back over to your card. That what the card is able to be read by the Android OS....with all your data...instead of the Windows Mobile format that is currently on your card...does that make sense?

I made this exact same transition. There's this software that formats sd cards.

Glad I could help. I just got a brand new TP2 at a store today...instead of a refurbished...then out of the blue the guy gave me the box with all the accessories in it...extra battery..new wall charger...3 stylus's now...and a brand new phone that was manufatured June 11, 2010. I have to say Sprint has really stepped up there service latly..I am happy..and now when I get my Evo I will have a extra battery :-)
