Where on the phone do I save my ringtones to?

Where do I save custom ringtones so I can assign them to my contacts?

I just made a folder on my sdcard called /media/ringtones/ but it should pick them up anywhere on the sdcard..

if they arent showing up then reboot or use sdcard rescan from the market so it picks them up..

You can put ringtones in sd card/media/audio/ringtones
You can put notifications in sd card/media/audio/notifications

No reboot needed.
