Need help with xml document
 

Hey haven't been here since omnia i910 days. Boy time goes fast.
Any ways, I need some help. I am trying to mod the Droid X keyboard, and the xml documents got me puzzled. I have modded xml documents to change the color of fonts before, but this one looks different. So if ANYONE could help me figure it out, I would appreciate it. Wanna have a black mutli touch keyboard BAD.
I uploaded all the xml documents but I believe the main ones I need are under layout.

Just a quick peek at the files, it would appear they are binary XML, versus plain text. I've never really worked with binary XML and there are several different formats of them so first thing would be to figure out how to convert it to a plain text. Then once your editing is done, back to binary.
